Board of Directors "Lemonade Stand": This Saturday!

Join current members of the Board of Directors for lemonade and conversation at both stores on Saturday, June 15th. From 10am-12pm, Board members will be serving free lemonade and discussing, well, whatever you want to discuss with them!

Stop by and say "hi!"

What does our Board do, anyway?

The Co-op's Board of Directors is a group of volunteers, elected by the membership, who oversee the co-op's vision, finances, policies, and goals. Board members attend monthly Board meetings, and they also join 1-3 committees that meet each month. Committees range from Member Relations and Outreach to Finances and Personnel. Board members are regular Co-op members who have made a commitment to help serve and guide the organization.

Join the Board!

Are you passionate about your Co-op? Do you have some time to help make OFC even better? Consider joining the Board of Directors! Applications will be posted online in August, with a September deadline. If you're interested, stop by the "lemonade stand" and talk to a current Board member about the position, or attend a Board meeting. Board meetings happen the third Thursday of each month, from 6:30-9:30, at the Co-op's downtown office (610 Columbia St. SW). All Board meetings are open to Co-op members.
